Hugh Jackman and Emanuel Azenberg to receive special Tony Awards

The 2012 Tony Awards are just a day away and this year Hugh Jackman and broadway star Emanuel Azenberg will both receive special Tony Awards. The Actors' Equity Association will also be honored with a special Tony award. Azenberg will be presented with the 'Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the theatre.'

Hugh Jackman was selected in April for the honor due to his major commitment to the Broadway community. As a big fan of Broadway theatre, Jackman has been invited on more than one occasion to host the ceremony, and of course, all eyes will be on this year's duet. Will he make the big leap to the stage with Neil Patrick Harris once more?

Every Year the Tony Awards brings together the créme de la créme of American theatre, providing a night of entertainment and an homage to performance, literary and creativity in the theatre space. Nick Jonas, Tyler Perry, Andrew Garfield, Ricky Martin and Sheryl Crow are some of the stars set to attend tomorrow night's ceremony.
