Which films most accurately portrayed 9/11?

We are close to 10 years on from the gruesome and horrific scenes of September 11th 2001 but how have films portrayed the event, and is there more to come?

911 for all Americans is a day of national mourning, and while some fear the potential of a repeat by extremists, the real task that lies ahead is to rebuild those lives shattered by this tragedy.

Films such as the 2002 documentary ‘9/11’ aired 6 months after the disaster on CBS which showed real-life accounts of the disaster as it took place.

Hollywood later took on the sensitive role in films such as ‘United 93’ and ‘World Trade Center’, directed by Oliver Stone, but perhaps one of the most controversial was Michael Moore’s ‘Farenheit 911’, which took the subject of 911 has a pretext to war in Iraq, analyzing how the Bush administration allegedly created the link up and used the terrorist attack as ‘fuel for war.’
