'The Shield' actor Michael Jace is being questioned by the LAPD after being charged with shooting his wife, according to reports .

Jace, a TV veteran, has starred in shows such as 'NYPD Blue', 'The Mentalist' and 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.'

The actor was detained on Monday night following a homicide investigation into the death of April Jace, who was shot dead in her home.
