Ben Affleck and Matt Damon make movies for Feeding America

The Goodwill Hunting duo have joined forces to make two short films for the Charity Feeding America, to raise awareness about hunger relief.

No stranger to charity work, Matt Damon has once again lent a hand to a non-profit to tell the story of how Feeding America's food banks programs helps Americans in need, with a comedic twist about his Oscar win.

Ben Affleck on the other hand takes a more serious approach to the PSA commercial and tells it straight as it is.

What feeding America is all about

Feeding America is America's hunger-relief charity whose mission is to feed the   hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage in the fight to end hunger.

Each year, the Feeding America network provides food to more than  37 million low-income people facing hunger in the United States, including 14 million  children and nearly 3 million seniors.

Our network of more than 200 food banks serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, securing and distributing more than 2.5 billion pounds of food and grocery products annually. Those member food banks support approximately 61,000 local charitable agencies and 70,000 programs, which provide food directly to individuals and families in need.

What other actors say about Feeding America

I was thrilled to team up with Feeding America and the Ad Council to play a role in revealing a problem that so many Americans face: figuring out where to find their next meal. I would encourage everyone to get involved in the fight against hunger to help those who are less fortunate in our communities, (Ana Ortiz)

Feeding America and the Ad Council enabled me to play a small part in raising awareness about hunger in America, so the hardworking people in our communities will not go hungry. By reaching out to your local food bank you too can make a difference for those struggling with hunger, (Taye Diggs) -
