Brad Pitt takes immediate legal action against attacker

Brad Pitt was attacked on the red carpet last night while attending the red carpet premiere of 'Maleficent' along with the cast and crew but it wasn't long before he fought back with his own 'strike'.

Notorious prankster Vitalii Sediuk managed to get over a barricade at the Los Angeles premiere, to the shock of co-stars while Pitt was handing out autographs and greeting the crowds. Angelina Jolie was close-by when the attacker got up-and-personal with Pitt.

Variety confirmed that Brad Pitt filed a temporary restraining order against the prankster which could be extended with further court action.

Pitt, who is one of the world's most famous actors, is often at the centre of media attention, facing the highs and lows of fame including aggressive paparazzi at red carpet events looking to get the best picture.

However, he is not the only actor to have come "head-to-head" with a party crasher. In Cannes this year, Vitalii managed to get on to the red carpet and in an even more shocking incident, tried to French kiss Will Smith a while back.
