BRONX WORLD FILM CYCLE 2010 SEEKS LOCAL, CENTRAL AMERICAN FILMS

Bronx World Film, an integral human development project centered on the film industry, is currently preparing the pilot launch of Bronx Film World Cycle 2010, its signature program. Bronx Film Cycle 2010 has lined up a varied representation of works in feature, short and micro formats and all genres from throughout the world. As a permanent feature, the Cycle actively seeks indie and experimental works by local New York City filmmakers. For this year’s edition, it also seeks films by artists of Central American extraction living anywhere in the world. Bronx World Film Cycle specializes in Art House, indie, non-commercial and experimental works in all genres and formats including feature, short, micro, nano and interstitial. Submissions will be judged with particular weight to explorations of the local and idiosyncratic, along with high production values, quality of screenplay, acting and directing, and innovation.

HOW TO SUBMIT: Please send your DVD’s to the following address. Deadline has been extended to May 31st, 2010. Send two (2) copies of each work submitted, preferably in DVD format. If sending subtitled films, please be sure that these have been subtitled professionally, otherwise please send unsubtitled copies. Include your contact information: name, e-mail address, telephones and mailing address. SEND SUBMISSIONS AS EXPEDITIOUSLY AS POSSIBLE.

CICLO DE CINE MUNDIAL BRONX 2010 SOLICITA OBRAS DE REALIZADORES CENTROAMERICANOS

Bronx World Film, entidad dedicada a un modelo de desarrollo humano centrado entorno a la industria cinematográfica, prepara actualmente el piloto de Bronx World Film Cycle 2010 (Ciclo de Cine Mundial Bronx 2010), evento emblemático de su programación. Bronx World Film Cycle 2010 ya incluye en su programación una variada oferta en formatos largo, corto y micro de todos los géneros y de alcance internacional. Como atributo permanente, el Ciclo también busca activamente obras independientes y activas de realizadores del área de Nueva York. Para esta edición piloto, procura también realizaciones de centroamericanos en cualquier parte del mundo. Bronx World Film Cycle se especializa en el cine no comercial independiente, de ensayo, de autor y experimental, en todos los géneros y formatos (largo, corto, micro, nano e intersticial). Se evaluarán las realizaciones con énfasis particular en la exploración de lo autóctono o idiosincrático, junto a los valores de producción técnica, calidad narrativa y actoral, e innovación.

CÓMO PRESENTAR: Remita antes del 31 de mayo de 2010 dos (2) copias de cada obra postulada, preferiblemente en formato DVD. Se aceptarán obras subtituladas profesionalmente, de lo contrario se ruega envíe copias sin subtitular.
