Colin Firth reveals beef with Monarchy on Piers Morgan Tonight

Colin Firth has revealed on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight that he isn't too fond of unelected officials in regards to being asked about the British Monarchy.

The British actor is on a career high with a Golden Globe win, an Oscar nomination and high approval from critics and audiences for his outing in The King's Speech .

The actor admitted however that Prince Charles had done wonders for people through his charity, and that: There wouldn't be Shakespeare without kings and queens.

The King's Speech centers on Firth's character, King George VI, who suffers from an embarrassing stammer and must overcome it to be respected in the public eye.
