Family Guy actor making Star Wars parody TV series

Family Guy has taken the concept of Star Wars and made it spooftacular with several movies released these past few years, but actor Seth Green is reportedly working on a new animated sitcom himself.

The popular American cartoon series has had three special Star Wars outings in the past but news of Seth Green's sitcom aspirations could prove to be a winning formula for his personal humour.

Family Guy took George Lucas' Star Wars trilogy and mixed it with a blend of self-parody and witty humour which connected fans with the cartoon. Seth Green's new show, produced by Lucasfilm is set to be released within the next 2 years. The original Star Wars films are also set to be re-released in 3D in 2012. (as if that was ever 'not' going to happen again)
