Film Industry Network to sponsor 'Film The House'

Film The House

Film Industry Network has become an official sponsor of 'Film The House', a UK Parliamentary initiative set up by MP Mike Weatherley to discover young talented filmmakers and provide them with national exposure.

Open to young filmmakers and creative talent, 'Film The House' seeks to raise awareness about copyright protection and give filmmakers the opportunity to get their name in front of leading film industry figures.

Backed by Hollywood studios including Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, Lionsgate Studios, TV stations, major tech corporations such as Google, and national film organizations, 'Film The House' is an ambitious project that brings government closer to creativity, and tomorrow's emerging talent.

Winners of the national contest will get a special screening of their films at the House of Commons, film premiere tickets, work experience at film productions studios among a host of other prizes.

"Film The House provides a great opportunity for young filmmakers to gain a huge exposure in the film industry. With the participation of leading film organizations and a special screening in parliament, it's hard to find a contest that's more exciting for young filmmakers to participate in. If you are looking to get into the industry, this is your chance to get your skills recognized."

- Iain Alexander, Founder of the Film Industry Network
