George Clooney has had a California style beach hut built just for him while he shoots scenes for ‘Gravity’ at Shepperton Studios with Sandra Bullock.

The Hollywood actor ‘demanded’ the luxury so that he could relax with a certain style not found in the somewhat, rainy, English countryside.

According to The Sun, Clooney was able to request anything he desired in order to have a comfortable ‘living space’ outside of the film shoot, which is taking place at the Surrey based studios.

“Because he’s such a big star he can request pretty much whatever he wants and he usually gets it.”

Is there a hidden meaning behind this ‘extravagant request’? The beach-hut also features a private landscaped garden, a jacuzzi and even a basketball court.

Hollywood often comes to the UK to shoot movies and one particular epic that was shot in Surrey was Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator’ starring Russell Crowe.
