Global media guru to help ‘winning’ entrepreneurs in Nike Town

Social media plays a large role in how businesses ‘appear’ online, and with the expansion of online marketing in entertainment and elsewhere, companies of all sizes can benefit by reaching their targeted audience.

Many entrepreneurs and established businesses do not yet consider social media as a brand building part of their strategy, and that it mostly affects the entertainment industry. There are however, audience demographics for every niche and industry online, and within that, immense opportunity to target customers for products and services.

This coming week, Social media expert and brand manager Teressa Raiford will be holding a special networking event for individuals and businesses looking to boost their brands, and meet online ‘players’. How can businesses in Portland and around the US benefit from integrating Social Media into their brand campaigns?

All businesses with limited advertising budgets can benefit from the cost of enhancing their current means of advertising with a online marketing specialist. The online support will allow the advertisement to be seen by a larger audience and this usually drives  business.

What can social media do for the individual entrepreneur, whether in the entertainment industry or elsewhere?

It allows the individual in business to have 24\7 access to their consumer base during sales, contests, product promotions and media blitz.   It also allows them to engage widely and in an open forum.  The responses from an online base can be used to measure the success of current advertising campaigns for marketing of products i.e music, services, client retention, sales, company image and branding.
