Stand Up to Cancer Telethon draws crowds
The ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ Telethon has become a big draw for the Hollywood A list, now running in it’s 3rd year.
Airing this Friday between 8 and 9pm EDT across all major networks (NBC, CBS and FOX), the ‘Stand Up To Cancer Telethon’ will feature a special one-hour program to encourage donations big and small to help in the fight against cancer.
Set up in 2008 by former Spider-Man producer ‘Laura Ziskin’, the ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ Telethon has raised millions of dollars for cancer research, and has become a highly publicized television event for doing great things for many sufferers.
Among some of the celebrities encouraging donations this year include ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ star Emma Stone, smooth talking Samuel L Jackson, Sofia Vergara, Seth Rogen and Tom Hanks.

The night will also feature performances from the likes of Taylor Swift and Coldplay.
