HBO's Treme holds open casting call for extras

NEW ORLEANS, USA - HBO's TV series Treme is holding an open casting call to find extras for the latest episodes of the series, set 3 months after Hurricane Katrina.

Hollywood actor Jon Seda recently signed on to star in the latest episodes of the series, portraying a developer from Texas who gets involved with the post-Katrina recovery.

The Wire star Wendell Pierce was attached to the series along with Clarke Peters in its early development. The casting of Treme is similar to that of The Wire as local actors will be used.

The series has received some good reviews, from the New York Times and other outlets including a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding directing for a drama series.

To apply for the casting as a film extra, send your photos and CVs to RPM Casting or via email to tremeextras@gmail.com
