Jim Carrey promises never-before seen surprise at MTV Movie Awards

Jim Carrey is heading to the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, and the actor has revealed he has a special surprise for viewers.

With big movie stars, singers, and leading entertainment industry figures heading to the MTV Movie Awards today, many are preparing their own little 'onscreen moments'.

Carrey told MTV ahead of the awards ceremony that he would be showcasing the latest in nanotechnology, and compared himself to a modern day Batman.

Will Carrey's 'surprise' provide the night's top entertainment?

Jim Carrey: "This is something I've created myself; I'm kind of Bruce Wayne in that kinda way. I have a lot of interesting and very cutting-edge technology that I work with, and I want to unveil it at the Awards."

Carrey's latest outing in 'Mr Popper's Penguins' will be released this month in theaters

Other celebrities attending include Kirsten Stewart, Nicki Minaj, Robert Pattinson and Shia LaBeouf
