The film, tentatively titled “Pacific Rim: Maelstrom” will also star Max Martini with Ron Perlman and Charlie Hunnam according to recent casting rumors.
Released in 2013, “Pacific Rim” was a box office success and grossed $101m in the US and secured over $411m at the box office worldwide. The film was subsequently nominated at the 2014 BAFTA Awards for “Best Special Visual Effects”.
