Bieber sends mixed messages
It looks like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may have broke up because of fake media rumours.
This week, rumours about Bieber's alleged relationship with 19-year old Victoria Secret model Barbara Palvin went viral when pictures were released of the two looking 'cosy' on stage. Then many stories appeared that indicated he had a secret relationship with the young model, and that Selena had been "put to the side".
However several reports today suggest that Bieber was caught off guard:
According to TMZ, sources close to Bieber have said that he is not involved with anyone else. In an interview with E! News on Saturday Bieber said that :
“I don’t know what’s going on in my life with [Selena] now. To even assess that … it doesn’t make sense because I haven’t made any comment yet.”
Later on Twitter today, ahead of the EMA's it looked like Bieber was revealing yet another hint that about the breakup with Selena:

He seems genuinely sad that it's happened. It doesn't look like he's gloating or trying to push that breakup to the side. Is this a sign that Bieber is actually trying to fix this situation? With so much mis-information on the web, it's quite reasonable to see how Selena Gomez would have trust issues with their highly publicized relationship.
