Linkedin down and Stumbleupon also offline

Linkedin is down after what appears to be an outage effecting other major websites including popular social share site Stumbleupon.

Both Linkedin and Stumbleupon between them have over 120 million users, accounting for a large portion of the social web. Wheras Linkedin is a business social network, Stumbleupon helps people find content they enjoy within an interest category.

As major websites are hosted in big datacenters it’s not impossible for a large group of sites to be affected by one outage. This may be affecting other web properties as well and could represent a major world outage. Are you experiencing any difficulties?
