Scheduled to shoot in 2015, the sequel to ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ is confirmed for a 2016 release much to the delight of fans who thought until recently that Damon would not be returning.

Following the successful conclusion of the new Project Greenlight competition, Damon’s future casting was revealed by pal Ben Affleck at the finale of Season 4.

Damon then confirmed later on that he was telling the truth and that all he needed was to have Paul Greengrass in the director’s chair to commit to another movie, which he has now done so.
