Actor Nicky Naudé has revealed to us how he was punched several times in the face by Matt Damon while shooting “The Bourne Identity”.
Starring opposite Damon in a high paced action scene back at the start of the Bourne franchise, Nicky Naudé did several combat rehearsals and takes with Damon during the shooting of ‘Bourne Identity”. During several shots, Damon hit Naudé in the face by accident as they acted out an intense fight scene in a small apartment.
Naudé, who has been referred to as the ‘French Hugh Jackman‘ was delighted to receive a huge crate of Veuve Clicquot Champagne from Damon after the incident, which he highlights in our exclusive interview.
During the shoot of ‘Bourne Identity’, Nicky Naudé did hand-to-hand combat with Damon (extract below). It took several takes to sequence and co-ordinate the fight, which also involved a small knife.
“….He offered me a massive crate of Veuve Clicquot Champagne.”
