Star Trek actor Michael Dorn has revealed a new spin-off TV series is in the early stages of development.
With the recent success of the 2009 'Star Trek' movie, and the hype for 'Star Trek 2', Dorn's announcement comes just after Chris Pine revealed even more juicy info about Paramount's latest sci-fi outing.
Michael Dorn portrayed a Klingon tactical Starfleet Officer (Lt Commander) in previous Star Trek movies and in TV series 'Star Trek: The Next Generation', and on 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.' Star Trek fans will remember Dorn's character (Worf) as a brutish, short-tempered, but sharp witted member of the Enterprise crew. Often battling aliens, and fighting hand to hand, Worf had a much more physical presence than other Star Trek crew members.
Speaking with Treknews.net , Dorn revealed that he had wanted to take the character further in a new series. There has also been a big interest in a spin-off project with him:

With that in mind, can Michael Dorn successfully embody his Klingon character in a spin-off series that puts him in the lead?
