Roman Polanski classic digitally restored

The new Criterion Collection of Roman Polanski's 'Rosemary's Baby' comes out tomorrow in a brand new digitally restored edition, approved by the director.

In the Blu-ray edition, fans of the 1968 classic starring Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes will get previously unreleased interviews with Roman Polanski, the film's producer Robert Evans and Mia Farrow.

'Rosemary's Baby ' includes the feature length documentary 'Komeda' that highlights the work of Krzysztof Komeda, the composer who wrote the score for the movie.

Earlier DVD and VHS releases of the movie didn't include digital remastering which was always lacking and fans will be given the first truly restored edition.

The film received critical acclaim and was nominated for 'Best adapted acreenplay'. Actress Ruth Gordon won best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 1969 Academy Awards and Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes the same year.
