Samuel L. Jackson to teach next generation of actors his art

Samuel L. Jackson is going to become an online instructor, providing an in-depth course for actors looking to learn his method and improve their techniques.

Playing more than 100 roles in his career, Samuel L. Jackson has embodied some of the most iconic on-screen characters of the last several decades. From starring opposite Bruce Willis as Zeus in “Die Hard With a Vengeance” through to his much loved performances in Tarantino classics such as “Jackie Brown” and “Pulp Fiction,” Jackson has a cemented himself as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable figures.

The actor’s course will be available exclusively on MasterClass, teaching students how to break down a script, what they must do to embody characters, how to use their voices, improve their audition techniques and much more. The course will share with actors tips on collaborations in the film industry.

Since its launch in 2015, MasterClass has become an industry standard welcoming a host of actors, musicians and sporting figures who provide a range of courses. Comedian Steve Martin, director Werner Herzog and composer Hans Zimmer are just some of the Hollywood figures who now provide online courses on the platform costing just $90 with thousands of students enrolled.
