The Smalls, a renowned short film community which supports and advocates independent film making, has teamed up with Ben Charles Edwards to produce The Actress, a short 20 minute film starring Sadie Frost, Sally Phillips, Perry Benson and Morgana Robinson.

A truly collaborative production, The Actress (2012) is a great example of what The Smalls film community is capable of creating. As a powerful hub that connects filmmakers, showcases films, produces original content, and offers amplification to opportunities that go beyond traditional formats, The Smalls yet again proves why it is renowned for its capacity to broker a phenomenal creative exchange.

Starting mid October 2012, patrons are able to post briefs for films, music videos, and other content in The Smalls Pitch Room. As a result, the industry can expect more original content with the power to truly reach out.
