Star Wars movie reboot possible?

The epic long saga of Star Wars continues till this day with no end in sight, from computer games to conventions, re-runs and ‘Lego Star Wars’. However, after seeing the many re-boots of franchises, and movie sequels at the box office today, could we not see a new Star Wars movie in the not too distant future?

Of course, without George Lucas’ blessing, no Star Wars movie can or should be made (unless it’s a fan film) With so many movies coming out, and so much ‘re-starting’ going on, it doesn’t seem unrealistic to ask why not have a new Star Wars outing? Even though Lucas has remained consistent about the fact the Star Wars movie franchise was always going to be those 6 movies, look at what happened to the star Trek universe.

Star Trek vs Star Wars

When ‘Star Trek’ came out in 2009, it changed everything. J.J Abrams brought the best elements of all the Star Trek series and gave new life to the franchise. That new momentum didn’t dishonour the previous movies, or shun die-hard fans. Most Trekkies embraced the shift, and the hype for ‘Star Trek 2′ is immense.

If there were to be a new Star Wars movie, would it take place in the distant future, or in the prequel phase? There are so many possibilities, and with the magic of imagination, who knows what we could see in Star Wars 7?

Sci-fi fans would flock to any new Star Wars movie, and it is pretty much guaranteed a huge opening and long lifeline with merchandising and all that extra profit making for studios. With 3D and various other technologies, could we not envisage some kind of special Star Wars movie for the Avatar generation? Nothing is impossible, and I hope Lucas will one day decide to take another look at history and see how he can inspire the next generation of sci-fi audiences.

a star wars reboot could work guys here is my sugestion. we must get the latest visual effects. best acting like method acting they literally disappear into character. the special and visual effects as well as the sound effects will be groundbreaking and ahead of our time. the film itself will be filmed in 120 fps(frames per second) in 3d. but the film wont focus on special effects it will be equally story driven. the star wars reboot willl push the limits of epic filmmaking and storytelling.the film will be epic in scope. and ambition the story will be greatly expanded. now time for the marketing we need movie novelizations. and use viral marketing and social media. the trailer would have to be epic. superbowl ads could be in handy.

part 2 of my suggestion for a star wars reboot we need good actors and a younger luke. a younger luke will be more relatable then a 20 year old one maybe 15 to 16. with groundbreaking special and visual effects. the acting wont be regular acting it will be method acting were they literally disapear into charater. the visual effects would be cutting edge and ahead of our time so will the sound effects the film itself will be shot at 120 fps(frames per second) with 3d. this film wont just focus on visual effects. it will be equally story driven picture a film that has great visuals and sound great acting and most importantly epic storytelling. the reboot will push the limits of epic filmmaking as well as storytelling. when it come to story expect the same but different. the marketing like i said in my previous comment it we have to make movie novelizations and use social media and viral marketing including other techniques which would make tremondous hype but make sure that the hype does not exceed the films quality. super bowl ads can come in handy. the film will be a epic the definition of the word is empathizing human drama on a massive scale on a sweeping scope. the story will not only be loyal to the original but will expand it. the journay will be much more galatic in scale
