After a victory at the Cesars for ‘The Artist’, the film industry now awaits to see who will triumph tonight as the year’s biggest Award show gets underway.

Winning 6 Cesars including Best Film at the French equivalent of the Oscars, ‘The Artist’ has been a favourite among critics and movie fans leading up to tonights ceremony. Will it win Best Picture? Actors Jean Dujardin, George Clooney and Brad Pitt also face each other in the Actor in a leading role category. Each performance is unique and touching. Gary Oldman’s outing in ‘Tinker Tailor Solider Spy’ and Demian Bichir in ‘A Better Life’ are also up for the top prize.

Berenice Bejo is also up for an Oscar nod in ‘The Artist’ in the Actress in a supporting role category.
