A new year, a new dawn and a new set of rules. How will you make the most out of 2010?
In a few weeks time two of the industries biggest events in the USA, the Golden Globes and the Grammys, will be awarding the best films and musicians for their work. Also over here in France, the NRJ Music awards taking place at the end of January will be awarding the best talent. I will look forward to sharing with you my thoughts on these, as we get closer to the deadlines.
To start 2010 I will be expanding our Resources section to include helpful information, advice, tips and success stories from top executives and people in the business. Already you will find several articles on film distribution with advice as to how to approach potential buyers and prepare for you meetings and pitches.
Our new panel (which I will reveal on Monday 4th January) will be an integral part to your experience on this website. Get real advice from professionals who have made it to the top whether you are a student or working your way up.
Secondly, as members you will be able to ask questions to professionals in the coming weeks who will share with you their tips on how to take your careers to the next level.
Listings will be expanded to include castings, student films, internships and other paid job opportunities and soon you will be able to upload your own announcements should you choose to.
